The Silverado Skyhawks waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Doral Academy Red Rock at home to the tune of 55-10. With Silverado ahead 35-3 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Kingsley Jones was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Christina Stowers, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Silverado's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Silverado will head out on the road to challenge Rancho at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they will be playing at home against Western at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Western has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
