Scholars Guild Academy suffered their biggest defeat since November 28, 2023 on Thursday. They were dealt a 74-47 loss at the hands of Young Americans Christian.
Meanwhile, Providence Classical Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a rough 55-35 defeat at the hands of Peachtree Academy.
Scholars Guild Academy bumped their record down to 6-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Providence Classical Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Scholars Guild Academy against Providence Classical Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 52-24 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Scholars Guild Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
