The Walla Walla Blue Devils can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down Richland 68-49. Walla Walla pushed the score to 58-37 by the end of the third, a deficit Richland cut but never quite recovered from.
Miriam Hutchens was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Madison Reibel, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Walla Walla's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Richland, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-10.
Walla Walla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richland, they will head out on the road to square off against Central Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
