The San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Desert Christian Academy at home by a decisive 82-63 margin. San Jacinto Valley Academy has not had much luck with Desert Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Robert Edwards, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. Edwards continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. Nahamani Hamala was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten assists.
San Jacinto Valley Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Desert Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.
San Jacinto Valley Academy will head out on the road to square off against Temecula Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert Christian Academy, Desert Christian Academy and Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 265 points over their last four matchups.
