The American Heritage Patriots won the last time they faced the Mater Academy Charter Lions, and things went their way on Friday too. American Heritage took down the Lions 56-40.
American Heritage got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dia Bell out in front who scored 15 points. Dhiran Nara was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Despite the loss, Mater Academy Charter still got an impressive performance from Chris Proensa, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Proensa has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Davis, who scored five points along with two steals.
American Heritage's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Mater Academy Charter, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-9.
American Heritage will square off against the Falcons at TBD on Tuesday. Jensen Beach has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Mater Academy Charter, they will square off against the Rams at TBD on Tuesday.
