Mountain View (Bend, Ore.) beat Pendleton (Ore.) 55-14 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Kyler Ayers in the first quarter, the Cougars led 35-0 at the half.
Both teams scored 14 points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 35 entering the fourth.
Mountain View had struggled this season, allowing 35.0 points per game.
The win was a nice bounce back for MV, which lost to Wilsonville last week, 49-33.
Pendleton (1-5) will play a 5A Columbia River game against Hood River Valley next week, while Mountain View (3-3) will take on Summit in a 5A Intermountain game.
