The Berlin Redcoats won against the Platt Panthers last Monday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Berlin claimed a resounding 49-21 victory over Platt on the road. Given Berlin's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Platt is ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Berlin found their leader in underclassman Brooke Walker, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Walker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Litwinko, who scored 16 points along with two steals.

As for Platt, they will head out on the road to square off against Maloney at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Platt is facing Maloney at the right time seeing as Maloney is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
