There's no place like home for North Shelby, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Louisiana Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with an 18-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cole Browning was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Bacon, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

North Shelby pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Louisiana, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Shelby will square off against La Plata at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Louisiana, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montgomery County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
