B District 1 recap October 1, 2013
Roncalli Catholic scaled the state rankings by moving to 61 from 96 this week, the biggest jump in B District 1. The Crimson Pride were able to move up by beating South Sioux City 35-6.
Ralston extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Bennington, 43-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Rams.
Ralston's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Josh Krzemien threw for 31 yards and Isaac Wallace had 22 yards receiving. On the ground Wallace contributed 279 yards.
Tyler Zahn's team's dynamic duo of Krzemien and Wallace proved tough for the Badgers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Wallace was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Rams topped Bennington. The 6-foot-2 senior.
