Even though The Piper Bengals have not done well against the Plantation Colonels recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Piper skirted past Plantation 24-21. For Piper, this counts as revenge for the 42-15 defeat Plantation walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Piper's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Plantation, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
Piper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Plantation will be playing in front of their home fans against Western at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Western will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
