After a disappointing 0 points in the contest before, Mountain View made sure to put some points up on the board against Cedar Ridge on Friday. Mountain View took the game and then some with a 44-8 victory over Cedar Ridge. Mountain View were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win bumped Mountain View's record up to 1-3. The loss dropped Cedar Ridge's record to 1-3.
Mountain View will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Harding Academy in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Mountain View will be strutting in after a win while Harding Academy will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Cedar Ridge, they will face off against Marshall. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
