The Bulloch Academy Gators waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 62-51 victory over Trinity Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bulloch Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Ashantay Noble continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bulloch Academy's points. Emery Lynn Davis was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Bulloch Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Trinity Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bulloch Academy and Southeast Bulloch will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Southeast Bulloch comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Covenant Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
