Bibb County had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Holt Ironmen with a sharp 16-1 victory on Thursday. The Choctaws not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 29th (when they won 15-0).

Bibb County's win bumped their record up to 10-21. As for Holt, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Coming up, Bibb County will square off against Brookwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Choctaws' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Holt, they will challenge Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Ironmen are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
