The Lincoln Cougars will be playing at home against the Bridgeport Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Lincoln strolled past Liberty with points to spare, taking the game 46-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Meanwhile, Bridgeport waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They had just enough and edged Woodrow Wilson out 55-53.
Lincoln's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. As for Bridgeport, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
Lincoln barely slipped by Bridgeport in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 42-41. Does Lincoln have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bridgeport turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
