The Chadwick Dolphins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Windward Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Chadwick will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Friday, Chadwick faced Sage Hill in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Chadwick enjoyed a cozy 40-21 win over Sage Hill.
Chadwick's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joshua Goodman led the charge by rushing for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, while also catching a touchdown. Goodman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Rosso, who threw for 132 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Windward had to suffer through a rough 55-22 loss at the hands of Flintridge Prep. Windward was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.
Chadwick's win bumped their season record to 6-0 while Windward's defeat dropped theirs to 1-4.
Everything went Chadwick's way against Windward when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as Chadwick made off with a 53-28 win. Does Chadwick have another victory up their sleeve, or will Windward turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
