Nicho Simes was a major factor in Clearwater's victory over the Hurricanes on Wednesday. Palm Harbor University had no answer to Simes as he scored 17 points along with three steals.
Simes and Clearwater will square off against the Vikings at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast will enter the matchup having just beaten the Crusaders, so the Tornadoes will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
