The Marion-Franklin Red Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Independence 91-37 on the road. With that victory, Marion-Franklin brought their scoring average up to 50.5 points per game.
Marion-Franklin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Neko Tuff, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Tito Glass was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
The victory got Marion-Franklin back to even at 2-2. As for Independence, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Marion-Franklin will be home for the holidays to greet West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Independence, they will head out on the road to face off against Briggs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Briggs is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
