The Ridgefield Tigers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Ludlowe Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Ridgefield will be looking to keep their 14-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Ridgefield beat the Warriors 52-46. Given Ridgefield's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Warriors are ranked 40th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Ludlowe's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 51-35 fall against Warde. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ludlowe has scored all season.
Ridgefield's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Ludlowe, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.
Ridgefield beat the Falcons 55-42 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Will Ridgefield repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
