On Friday, The Porterville Panthers got themselves on the board against the Monache Marauders, but the Monache Marauders never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Marauders with a sharp 21-0 victory. Porterville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Porterville can attribute much of their success to Samuel Alcantar, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Alcantar was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards.
Porterville's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Monache, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Porterville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Monache also has no future games currently scheduled.
