Baseball Recap: Harmony Extends Winning Streak to Four

Harmony entered their tilt with St. Cloud on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the St. Cloud Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Longhorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Trevin Bean tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Harmony saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Westin Thompson, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double was Thompson's first of the season.

Harmony's record now sits at 4-1. As for St. Cloud, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Harmony will square off against South Dade at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Harmony's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so South Dade's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Cloud, they will take on Gateway at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something St. Cloud surely won't give up without a fight.
