District 10 Region 4 AA recap November 19, 2013
Girard added to the longest winning streak in District 10 Region 4 AA this week by beating Greenville, 16-14. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Yellowjackets.
Girard moved up to 137 from 213 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Jim Funk's team climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Trojans 16-14.
Corry's Nathainel Smith and Liam Cragg have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Smith has thrown for 1,199 yards this season, while Cragg has 26 catches for 418 yards. Fairview's Shannon Jackson leads the league in rushing yards with 1,708.
Northwestern fell to Hickory 52-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
