Even though the Christ the King Crusaders scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, the Bandys Trojans still came out on top. Bandys walked away with a 67-55 win over Christ the King. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bandys.
Rachel Anderson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with four steals. The contest was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Haley Cross, who scored 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Bandys is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Christ the King, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Bandys and East Burke will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. East Burke knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Bandys likes a good challenge. As for Christ the King, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Corvian Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
