The Centennial Broncos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. Everything went their way against Centura as Centennial made off with a 59-36 win. The victory was familiar territory for Centennial who now have three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Centennial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devin Slawnyk, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Hirschfeld, who scored 14 points.
Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Centura, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will take on Fillmore Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centura, they will head out on the road to take on St. Paul at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Paul is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
