Delta faced Hutchison in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 27-7 victory. The Huskies' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Delta pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Hutchison, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Coming up, Delta will be playing in front of their home fans against North Pole at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Hutchison, they will head out on the road to face off against West Valley at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
