Pocono Mountain East has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pocono Mountain East suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Monday. They were beaten by Pocono Mountain West 71-24. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pocono Mountain East in their matchups with Pocono Mountain West: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, East Stroudsburg North was able to grind out a solid victory over Mt. St. Michael Academy on Monday, taking the game 61-54. The victory was just what East Stroudsburg North needed coming off of a 76-47 defeat in their prior match.
East Stroudsburg North had a senior duo take command as Nate Wilder scored 22 points and Bryceson Dobie scored 19 points. Wilder is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Wayne King, who scored seven points.
Pocono Mountain East bumped their record down to 6-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for East Stroudsburg North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
