After a string of four wins, Pillager's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 7-2 to the Parkers Prairie Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 two weeks ago.

Pillager saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Brandt, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double marked the first that Brandt has hit this season. Another was Derek Hoglin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Pillager's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Parkers Prairie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pillager will head out to challenge Crosby-Ironton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkers Prairie, they will venture away from home to square off against Frazee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
