On Thursday, Southern Lab got the win against Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy by a conclusive 67-41.
Southern Lab got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryson Chapman out in front who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. Chapman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Leblanc, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
The victory got Southern Lab back to even at 3-3. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Lab will take on Rayne at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Abbeville at 4:00 p.m.
