After only two runs in their last matchup, Cathedral Catholic made sure to put some runs up on the board against Bonita Vista on Tuesday. The Dons put the hurt on the Barons with a sharp 10-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Dons in their matchups with the Barons: they've now won six in a row.

Parker Brown looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

At the plate, Hunter Harrington was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Trey Gudoy was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one triple, and one run.

Cathedral Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Cathedral Catholic's record now sits at 9-6. As for Bonita Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Cathedral Catholic and Bonita Vista will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Dons will challenge rival Scripps Ranch at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bonita Vista is set to take on their familiar foe Montgomery at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
