After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Minster, Perry was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  15-13  victory over the Lima Senior Spartans. The high-scoring effort was just what Perry needed considering they were shutout in their previous   game.
  Braylon Ardner was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Hunter Scott, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-4.
 On Lima Senior's side, they got a big performance out of  Clay Jordan, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Blake Hahn, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5.
 Perry's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 13-10-1. As for Lima Senior, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record  this season.
 Perry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lima Senior, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Bowsher at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
