The Lamar Raiders had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against Park Place Christian Academy by a score of 64-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lamar also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Lamar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zion Huggins, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Huggins has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Hart, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-13.
Lamar will face off against the Cougars at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Simpson Academy will be looking to extend their current 16-game winning streak. Park Place Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
