TERRA Environmental will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Monday, then bounced right back against Southridge on Thursday. TERRA Environmental was the clear victor by a 20-6 margin over Southridge. TERRA Environmental hasn't had any issues with Southridge recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Melissa Hernandez made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Hernandez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5.

In other batting news, TERRA Environmental got a massive performance out of Rachel Valladares, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Valladares a new career-high. Gianna Mantaras was another key player, scoring five runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-5.
TERRA Environmental was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .583. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, St. Brendan had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with an 8-5 win over Palmer Trinity on Tuesday.
Jules Miranda spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.
At the plate, Leah Lorenzo was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Barrueta, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
TERRA Environmental's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for St. Brendan, their record is now 11-9.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. TERRA Environmental has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .621. However, it's not like St. Brendan struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
TERRA Environmental suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to St. Brendan in their previous meeting back in April of 2021. Can TERRA Environmental avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
