Tulpehocken is 2-8 against Berks Catholic since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. Tulpehocken will be playing in front of their home fans against Berks Catholic  at 4:00  p.m. Tulpehocken is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8  runs per game  this season.
Tulpehocken proved they can win big  on Saturday (they won by 11) and  on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past Lancaster Mennonite  4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Aidan Schwalm made a big impact no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Schwalm was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jared Baer, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles.
Meanwhile, Berks Catholic got themselves on the board against Conrad Weiser on Tuesday, but Conrad Weiser never followed suit. They blew past the Scouts 6-0.
  Owen Schalk was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  doubles (two).  Dom Valent was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Tulpehocken pushed their record up to 3-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Berks Catholic,  the  victory  got them back to even at 1-1.
