After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Emery, Canyon View was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They blew past the Manti Templars 16-5. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Canyon View considering their one-run performance the  match before.
 Canyon View let  Gracie Burt and  Hailee Sisk loose on the outfield. Burt  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Sisk  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Savanna Hutchings was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
 On Manti's side,  Paislee Clark was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hannah Daniels, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
