The Seligman Antelopes suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 65-43 loss at the hands of El Capitan/Centennial Academy. Seligman has struggled against El Capitan/Centennial Academy recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Seligman's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Carmelo Manakaja, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and six steals, and Montae Walker who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Walker is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games he's played.
Seligman struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as El Capitan/Centennial Academy racked up 20 assists.
Ethan Hammon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for El Capitan/Centennial Academy, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 29 rebounds. Hammon has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jairus Hammon, who scored 12 points along with three steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seligman will take on Ash Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ash Fork focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. Grand Canyon comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
