Tyler Street and Earl Hargrove provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Chichester. The longest such play in Delaware Valley this season, the connection resulted in 55 yards.
Interboro extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Penn Wood, 43-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Buccaneers.
Street and Jerry Lanier gave Academy Park a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Street threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns, while Lanier ran for 97 yards. Teammate Brian Ingram added to the ground attack by rushing for 56 yards.
Akinshola Jolaoso provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Patriots fell to Interboro. He completed nine passes for 151 yards and one touchdown and also ran for three yards. Jolaoso's favorite target this week was Corey Broach, who caught three passes for 100 yards.
Academy Park's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Street has thrown for 882 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Hargrove has 22 catches for 466 yards. Lanier leads the league in rushing with 970 yards.
The Knights' Lanier is a mere 30 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
A big matchup in Delaware Valley this week will be when the Battling Bulls take on Academy Park. At the moment, Glen Mills is in third, while Jason Vosheski's team is in second.
