Jerry Reese and John Cordovano provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Dover. The longest such play in Northwest Jersey - Freedom this season, the connection resulted in 54 yards.
Hanover Park's Jimmy Sivolella rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Madison last week. Sivolella's team fell to the Dodgers as he sprinted for 81 yards on the play and finished with 91 in all.
Jefferson Township's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Reese threw for 183 and five touchdowns and Daniel Brown had 107 yards receiving. On the ground Kyle Neuschatz chipped in 123 yards. Vincent Ginefra helped Jefferson Township's passing attack out by catching two balls for 39 yards.
The Falcons' Reese and Brown have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Reese has thrown for 512 yards this season, while Brown has 14 catches for 222 yards. Madison's Justin Goodwin leads the league in rushing yards with 406.
A big matchup in Northwest Jersey - Freedom this week will be when Lenape Valley takes on Kittatinny Regional. At the moment, the Patriots are in second, while the Cougars are in sixth.
Chris Kubik's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hanover Park, 48-25. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
