Even though the Lincoln Lynx have not done well against the Seeley-Swan Blackhawks recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Lincoln managed a 41-35 win over Seeley-Swan. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Lincoln was led to victory by Makena Copenhaver and Krymzen Dempster. Copenhaver scored 16 points along with two steals, while Dempster scored 12 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Copenhaver scored 15 or more points.
Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Seeley-Swan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Granite at 2:30 p.m. on January 20th. Seeley-Swan's road trip will continue as they head out to face Drummond at 12:00 p.m. on January 26th.
