Bixby and Jenks are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. Both teams will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bixby knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 matchups -- so hopefully Jenks likes a good challenge.
Even though Bixby has not done well against Broken Arrow recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Bixby came out on top against Broken Arrow by a score of 67-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Jenks suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. Their rough 60-37 loss to Charles Page might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jenks has scored all season.
Bixby's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Jenks, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.
Bixby was able to grind out a solid win over Jenks in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 58-50. Will Bixby repeat their success, or does Jenks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
