The Box Elder Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell just short of North Star by a score of 31-28. Box Elder lost against North Star in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 41-36 score last time.
Box Elder lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ariel Gopher, who scored nine points. Taizj Henry was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Box Elder's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Star, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Box Elder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Star also has no future games currently scheduled.
