The Forrest Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 14th straight loss. They were beaten by Cascade 58-29. Forrest was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Champions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Cascade's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophie Ray, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Suzanna Crews, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Forrest dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Cascade, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forrest will take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cannon County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rockets in Tennessee (the Lions are ranked 42nd, while the Rockets are ranked 340th). As for Cascade, they will be playing at home against the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
