The Caldwell Bluejays scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They secured a 62-57 W over South Haven. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Jackson Risley, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Miles Newell, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Caldwell and bumps their season record up to 6-10. As for South Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caldwell will take on West Elk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Haven, they will be playing at home against Dexter on Friday.
