Tecumseh is 9-0-1 against Bellefontaine since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Tecumseh Arrows will head out on the road to face off against the Bellefontaine Chieftains at 1:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Tecumseh is ranked 378th, while Bellefontaine is ranked 400th).
Tecumseh suffered their closest loss yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of Jonathan Alder by a score of 51-48.
Meanwhile, Bellefontaine's game on Wednesday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 64-59 win over Graham Local. The victory was just what Bellefontaine needed coming off of a 53-31 defeat in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bellefontaine to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quinlan Zedeker, who scored 22 points along with six assists. Tiffany Boop was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with three steals.
Tecumseh has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Bellefontaine, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Tecumseh beat Bellefontaine 38-25 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tecumseh since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
