The Constitution Generals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 91-64 victory over Octorara Area. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Constitution has posted since December 1, 2023.
Constitution was led to victory by Amir Speights and Kyree Latimer. Speights went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 0 assists, while Latimer dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Speights has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Perry Fields, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Constitution's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Octorara Area, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Constitution will take on Mastery Charter North - Pickett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mastery Charter North - Pickett will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 509th, while Constitution is ranked 40th). As for Octorara Area, they will be playing at home against Lancaster Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster Catholic is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
