On Saturday, Covenant Day ended up a good deal behind Gray Collegiate Academy and lost 62-45.
Despite the defeat, Covenant Day had strong showings from Michael Marcus Jr., who scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds, and Chris Rivens, who scored 14 points.
Covenant Day now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covenant Day will take on Carmel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Chapin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
