Jackson hasn't had much luck against Millry recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Aggies will welcome the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Jackson took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-6 margin over Clarke County. The Aggies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 11 runs or more this season.

Carlos Barientos
Carlos Barientos made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Jackson is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-13 otherwise. Barientos was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Jackson let Lance Moseley and Kemauri Bryant run wild. Moseley went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Bryant went 1-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs Bryant has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jay Morris, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.
Jackson hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Millry came into Monday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Washington County on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since April 25, 2025.
Caden Welford was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Jacob Graham was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Millry, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.
