Lake Mead Christian Academy extended their winning streak to nine on Friday, bumping their season record up to 19-1 in the process. Everything went their way against the White Pine Bobcats as they made off with a 15-4 victory. Considering the Eagles have won 16 matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Christian Marrs made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Cooper Garrett was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Cameron LaPres was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
