On Friday Grace King take on Chalmette at 7:00 PM. Grace King will be looking to avenge the 0-67 loss they took the last time these two teams played.
After having lost a blowout to A.J. Ellender in their previous match, Grace King were happy to find some success last week. Grace King took the match and then some with a 48-2 win over Fisher. Grace King were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, after soaring high against Bogalusa two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground. Chalmette ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-35 walloping at Holy Cross's hands.
Grace King's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Chalmette's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll see if Grace King's success rolls on or if Chalmette are able to steal their positive momentum.
