They took a serious blow against Carver A&T, falling 59-16. Owings Mills has struggled against Carver A&T recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Carver A&T was led to victory by Jada McAliley and Elisah Guity. McAliley scored 13 points along with seven steals and five rebounds, while Guity scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Oliva Vallar, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Owings Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Carver A&T, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
