The Chamblee Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 40-28 win over Towers. That's another feather in the cap for Chamblee, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chamblee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alana Azeta, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. Another player making a difference was Sophia Marek, who scored 11 points.
Chamblee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Towers, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Chamblee will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carver at 6:00 p.m. Towers will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
