Chapin is a perfect 10-0 against Andress since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chapin has eight straight wins, Andress has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Chapin barely beat Canutillo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Eagles on Friday. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 games by six runs or more this season.

Jaedyne Armendariz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Armendariz was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, Chapin got a massive performance out of Yaretzi Acosta, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Acosta has posted since back in February. Kaylee Himes was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Chapin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in 19 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Andress came up short against Burges on Friday and fell 11-7.
Peyton Eissens made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazlynn Rodriguez, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Andress' defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Chapin, their record now sits at 24-6.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Chapin has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .542. However, it's not like Andress struggles in that department as they've averaged .477. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Chapin got the 'W' in their previous meeting two weeks ago against Andress by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
